Not looking back, just gliding along

The future is set but hazy too

What will become of me and you

The world is open for us all

We’ve just got to listen for our call

Take each day as it appears

Let us try and destroy our fears

When will the moon outshine the sun

When will a child behold a gun

We see this each day but think its unreal

It’s too often shown on a cinema real

What if the world’s minds should unite

Would we be gods in eternal light

What if peace should ever be found

Surely we would be heavenly bound
