This reminds me of throat infection I once had. Hundreds of tiny puss-filled pimples growing near my tonsils. So I got my extra hard toothbrush and hacked at it, scraping all the gunk away til all that was left was pure uninfected blood filling my mouth. Oh the joy of that coppery taste.
